PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oscillation stop of a crystal oscillator due to a fact that a crystal resonator of high Q value has a bandwidth too narrow to pass an oscillation frequency by providing a crystal resonator and reducing phase noise of oscillation frequency. SOLUTION: The crystal oscillator comprises a resonance circuit formed by connecting a division capacitor with a quartz resonator as an inductance component, an oscillation transistor having a base connected with the joint of the quartz resonator and the division capacitor and an emitter connected with the joint of the division capacitors, a feedback line having a load resistor provided between the joint of the division capacitors and the emitter, and a crystal resonator inserted into the feedback line wherein a resistor is connected in parallel with the crystal resonator.
