SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display apparatus comprises an array substrate having a plurality of pixel circuits each having a pixel electrode PE and a transition electrode TE1, a counter substrate having counter electrodes opposing to the plurality of pixel circuits, and a liquid crystal layer present between the array substrate and the counter substrate.
