PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a combustion amount when combustion plates have the same outer diameter dimension. SOLUTION: First, unevenness is formed on the combustion plate 20 while keeping the wall thickness of the combustion plate almost constant (claim 1). Compared with the plane combustion plate, the combustion plate with unevenness can enlarge surface area even with the same outer diameter. As a result, area combustion load can be further improved while mounting the miniaturized combustion plate to an existing combustion apparatus. Secondly, a flow straightening cylinder 30 surrounding liquid fuel 3 sprayed to the combustion plate is provided, and the lower end of the flow straightening cylinder is disposed at or near the outer periphery of the back face of the combustion plate 20. The fuel supply amount to the outer peripheral part of the combustion plate is adjusted almost uniformly (claim 2). There is a case of providing a primary line for supplying air from the upstream of the combustion plate, and a secondary line for supplying air from the downstream (claim 3).
