PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing and drying machine with enhanced reliability in the long-time use by reducing the quantity of accumulation of foreign matters penetrating into a heater on circulating air in a drying process. SOLUTION: A heater support member 60 is disposed in such a way that it is not in contact with the bottom 37b of a heater casing 37 through which a lot of lint included in water and air fed from the blower side passes.
