NATURAL DRUGS CONTAINING CALCIUM AND PHOSPHATE AND APPARATUS FOR IONTOPHORETIC TREATMENT OF OSTEOPOROSIS

The invention relates to drugs of natural origin for the treatment of osteoporosis, which are bentonite enriched in calcium, containing electrophoretically mobilizable calcium, and modified hydrotalcite (talcid) containing electrophoretically mobilizable phosphate. The invention includes the use of the above drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis and to reduce the post-operative recovery period of human patients operated due to bone fracture or different bone diseases. The invention also relates to a three-electrode electrophoretic apparatus developed for the treatment of osteoporosis, and the methods of treatment for osteoporotic patients, which are carried out with the electrophoretic apparatus according to the invention by transdermally delivering preferably calcium and phosphate and other drug(s) to the osteoporotic sites or any part of the body without side effects to increase the bone density and to reduce the post-operative recovery period of human patients operated due to bone fracture or different bone diseases.
