<p>Decorative component for a motor vehicle comprises a support (4) with an opening (2) for receiving an insert (22) and a decorative covering (5) on the visible side (3) of the support. The covering has an edge region that extends through the opening and is bonded flat onto the inner wall of the opening. An independent claim is also included for apparatus for producing a decorative component as above, comprising a holder for the component and an expandable press bladder for insertion into the opening to press the edge region of the decorative covering against the inner wall of the opening.</p> |
