A connecting hose having a flange is provided to prevent leakage of a fluid by achieving perfect sealing even without a separate gasket or a separate packing and to reduce a size of an engine room by decreasing a space needed for piping. A connecting hose includes a flange(20) and a hose(30). The flange is formed by machining a plate. A reinforcing section, a bolt engaging hole, and an engaging hole are formed in the flange. The reinforcing section extends from a central portion of the flange to the outside. The reinforcing section extends symmetrically with respect to the center of the flange. The bolt engaging hole is used to engage the flange with another element. The engaging hole is formed at a central portion of the flange. The engaging hole penetrates the upper surface and the lower surface of the flange. The circumference of the engaging hole and a portion where the upper and lower surfaces meet are rounded. It is preferable that the flange is made of metal such as steel.
