摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust manifold assembly body at low cost, an exhaust gas controller, and an exhaust gas control method for an internal combustion engine for adjusting temperature of exhaust gas to satisfy demand of temperature and cost restriction conditions being contradictory such as suppression of too early prescription and speedy achievement of light-off of a catalyst device. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust manifold for the internal combustion engine 10 is provided with two exhaust gas flow paths 12, 13 prescribed in it. The first flow path 12 directs exhaust gas without appreciable cooling effect to a three-way catalyst 16 located downstream and the second flow path 13 includes water cooling for the exhaust gas passing therethrough using a coolant drawn from a main engine cooling circuit. One or more valves 15 are used to control the proportion of flow through the first and second flow paths 12, 13 so as to regulate the temperature of the exhaust gas entering the three-way catalyst 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
