<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, capable of properly correcting the granularity suppression the intensity and sharpness intensity set by conventional methods images of higher quality, and to provide an image processing program. <P>SOLUTION: A photo print system 1 comprises functional blocks that include a face area detector 101 for detecting a person's facial area from original image data; a facial ratio calculator 102 for calculating the ratio of the number of pixels of the facial area detected by the facial area detector 101 to the total number of pixels of the original image data; an intensity setting unit 103 for setting the granularity suppression intensity and sharpness intensity, based on the face ratio calculated by the face ratio calculator 102; and an intensity corrector 104 for correcting the granularity suppression intensity and sharpness intensity set by the intensity setting unit 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
