<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control assisting device for a vehicle that notifies a driver beforehand of control actuation states when a plurality of different controls are carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The operation control assisting device for a vehicle carries out an acceleration pedal operation reaction control according to the risk potential representing a degree of closeness of a drivers's vehicle and an obstacle ahead, and an automatic braking control according to the possibility of the contact of the driver's vehicle with the obstacle ahead. When the automatic braking control shifts from a low operation state to a high operation state in the state that an operational reaction is being generated to the acceleration pedal according to the risk potential, a pulse of an additional reaction is generated from the acceleration pedal, a predetermined period before the shift, and a single-shot warning sound is simultaneously generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
