<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutter, a sheet processing device and an image forming apparatus, heightening the productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet pressing means 93 for pressing and fixing a sheaf P3 of sheets to be cut is moved between a standby position and a pressing position for pressing and fixing the sheaf P3 of sheets to be cut. An interval control means for controlling the interval between the standby position and the pressing position of the sheet pressing means 93 previously controls the interval between the standby position and the pressing position to be reduced according to the information on the thickness of the sheaf P3 of sheets to be cut, which is detected by a thickness detecting means before the operation for pressing the sheaf of sheets to be cut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
