GAS TURBINE SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine system 10 capable of increasing power. SOLUTION: This gas turbine system 10 is provided with a compressor assembly 14 constituted to compress air around it and a combustor 16 communicating with the compressor assembly 14 by a flow of gas. The combustor 16 is constituted to receive compressed air from the compressor assembly 14 and burn a first flow of fuel to generate a gas stream in an outlet of the combustor. This gas turbine system 10 is provided with a first turbine 18 arranged on the downstream side of the combustor 16 and constituted to expand the gas stream in the outlet of the combustor partially and a recombustion device 12 communicating with the first turbine 18 by a flow of gas. The recombustion device 12 is constituted to introduce a second flow of fuel in the direction crossing a flow of operation gas from the first turbine 18 and burn fuel under the existence of the flow of operation gas. This gas turbine system 10 is also provided with a second turbine 20 constituted to expand a gas stream in an outlet from the recombustion device 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
