JOINING METHOD FOR STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for a structure, which is excellent in on-site constructibility. SOLUTION: A gap closing device 20 equipped with a flat tube body 30 is used; the tube body 30 is flatly bent and inserted into a gap 11, so as to correspond to shapes of opposed surfaces of structures 10A and 10B, and expanded to seal the peripheral edge of the gap 11; and the sealed gap 11 is filled with a consolidation material.
