PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing carriage for a shield machine, which can greatly reduce an overall length even in the absence of a surplus space on an oil tank. SOLUTION: This trailing carriage D for the shield machine is equipped with a hydraulic pump for driving various pieces 17, 18, 19 and 20 of hydraulic equipment of a shield machine body. The hydraulic pump is constituted as a multiple pump 7 in which a plurality of pump elements 12 are connected together so as to be driven by a common drive unit 9, and the plurality of pump elements 12 of the multiple pump 7 are connected to the pieces 17, 18, 19 and 20 of hydraulic equipment, respectively.
