PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an armature of a rotating electric machine that can improve production efficiency by reducing the number of processes for combining magnetic pole teeth. SOLUTION: The armature of the rotating electric machine is provided with: first magnetic teeth 100 each having a relay 102, a tooth part 101 protruding in the radial direction of the rotating electric machine from the relay 102, and a press-insertion protruded piece 104 at the tooth protruding side of both end surfaces 103 of the relay; and second magnetic pole teeth 200 that are arranged between the tooth parts of the first magnetic pole teeth 100, radially extend, and are formed with press-insertion recesses 202 at their one-side ends. By making end faces 103 of the adjacent first magnetic pole teeth 100 closely contact with each other, and by press-inserting the press-insertion recesses 202 of the second magnetic pole teeth 200 into press-insertion protrusions 105 formed of the press-insertion protruded pieces 104 of the adjacent first magnetic pole teeth 100, the adjacent first magnetic pole teeth 100 are connected and fixed.
