PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a composite filter for display by which an inexpensive composite filter can be manufactured at a high yield through a short process without mixing air bubbles. SOLUTION: The composite filter for display is comprised of a laminated body that an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet and an optical filter are bonded, and the method of manufacturing the composite filter includes the steps (A) and (B). In the step (A), the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet is formed by at least stacking a conductor layer 12 that has a mesh area capable of covering the entire area for indicating a display picture, on one surface of a transparent substrate 11. The height of a line in the mesh area is 3μm or less, the opening width of an opening thereof is 150μm or more, and then the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet not covered with a flattening layer is prepared onto an opening in the mesh area. In the step (B), an adhesive layer 22 is stacked on one surface and it has fluidity when it is adhered and stacked, and the side of the adhesive layer of an adhesive optical filter of which peel strength is 5-30 N/25 mm is stacked while being directed to the conductor layer of the electromagnetic wave shielding sheet.
