PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system for a vehicle for performing proper air-conditioning control in consideration of a state of solar radiation to an occupant without causing a cost increase resulting from the use of a dedicated solar radiation sensor. SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system for the vehicle is provided with an air-conditioning unit 100, sensors 200 connected to the air-conditioning unit 100, and a solar radiation detecting device 300. The solar radiation detecting device 300 includes a CCD camera 301, serving as a back view monitor camera, for photographing the rear of the vehicle, and a calculation part 302 for calculating intensity of the solar radiation received by the occupant of the vehicle based on an image photographed by the CCD camera 301, and outputting calculation results to the air-conditioning unit 100. The air-conditioning unit 100 performs vehicle air-conditioning control based on solar radiation information obtained from respective sensor detection signals and the solar radiation detecting device 300.
