PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road/rail working machine capable of easily performing expansion/contraction between crawlers in a short time and performing it without increasing the number of hydraulic circuits of a center joint. SOLUTION: A control valve 27 also used for control of an expansion/contraction hydraulic cylinder 19 and a vertical hydraulic cylinder 11 and control valves 29, 30 also used for control of a road surface traveling hydraulic motor 15 and a rail traveling hydraulic motor 14 are provided on a turning body. A first selection valve 21 for selectively connecting any one of the expansion/contraction hydraulic cylinder 19 and the vertical hydraulic cylinder 11 to the corresponding control valve 27 on the turning body is provided on the traveling body. Second selection valves 23A, 23B for selectively connecting one of the road surface traveling hydraulic motor 15 and the rail traveling hydraulic motor 14 to the corresponding control valves 29, 30 on the turning body are provided.
