PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining member capable of easily attaching and detaching wood without damaging the aesthetic appearance of the wood, and a joining structure. SOLUTION: The joining member comprises the frame part brought into contact with the edge faces respectively possessed by a plurality of woods to fix the woods and the connection part attached to the frame part in a freely detachable manner to connect at least two woods. The connection part comprises a flat panel part and at least two penetration projections which are projected from one side of the flat panel part so as to form a conical shape in the direction almost vertical to the surface of the main panel part and are respectively penetrated in the surfaces of the different woods.
