<p>A method and an apparatus for determining the initial transmit power on the carrier reverse channel. It includes: in the multicarrier system existing the reverse carrier, when a new reverse carrier is needed, determining the reverse channel initial transmit power of the new reverse carrier, according to the service channel pilot transmit power of the existing reverse carrier or the received power of the forward carrier pilot. It can calculate out the service channel pilot power of the new reverse carrier based on the existing reverse carrier transmit power, and make the power fast convergence as soon as possible, reduce the system interference, and improve the wireless communication stable speed.</p> |
