<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified type pyrroloquinoline quinone-dependent glucose dehydrogenase (PQQGDH) showing a decreased activity against at least one selected sugar substrate other than glucose as compared with that of corresponding wild type enzyme. <P>SOLUTION: This modified type PQQGDH is provide by having at least ≥1 amino acid insertion or substitution at a specific position in the amino acid sequence of Acinetobacter baumannii NCIMB 11517 strain-derived PQQGDH or at an equivalent position of another genus Acinetobacter or another species-derived PQQGDH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
