<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller whose image defect such as a vertical stripe or white fogging is eliminated by preventing the filming of toner on the surface of the conductive roller. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive roller includes: a conductive supporting member 1; an elastic layer 2 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the supporting member; and a covering layer 3 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic layer and exposed to the outermost surface. The covering layer is composed of composite material containing (A) thermoplastic resin, (B) particulates containing silicone modified by an organic compound containing at least a kind of element selected from a group comprising oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur, and (C) a conductivity imparting agent as an indispensable component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
