<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which does not yield complication and upsizing of its structure and enables easy addition of a prescribed fastening load to a laminate. <P>SOLUTION: Between two end plates (14a, 14b) arranged on both ends of the laminate (12) and interposing the laminate (12), spacers (16a, 16b) are inserted as set smaller by a prescribed length than the lamination direction length of the laminate (12).
