PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activating energy beam-curing type overprint varnish composition excellent in curing property and bonding property with an underlying layer, and also without having a problem of its smell. SOLUTION: This activating energy beam-curing type overprint varnish composition containing a photopolymerizable composition and photopolymerization initiator is provided with that the photopolymerizable compound contains (A) at least 1 kind selected from compounds having at least one tertiary amino group and at least one acryloyl group, and (B) a compound having a photopolymerizable unsaturated bond copolymerizable with the (A) compound by (A)/(B)=(0.5/99.5)-(30/70) mass ratio, and the photopolymerization initiator is an intermolecular hydrogen-drawing out type photopolymerization initiator.
