PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for a vehicle capable of enjoying a feeling of a sense of high-grade by fitting indirect lighting. SOLUTION: In the air cleaner for the vehicle which is an on-vehicle air cleaner mounted on a ceiling (R) inside a cabin, and which includes a casing (2) in which an air passage (K) having a suction port (3) at one end and a blow-off port (4) at the other end is formed, an air blowing device (5) disposed in the middle of the air passage (K) and for generating a flow of air from the suction port (3) toward the blow-off port (4), and air cleaning devices (6, 7) disposed in the middle of the air passage (K) and for cleaning the air passing through the air passage (K), a gap (G) is provided between the ceiling (R) and the casing (2), and indirect lightning (10, 11) are disposed in the gap (G).
