PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type safety device for a combustible gas flow passage by which reverse flow in the passage is prevented and the warning is made when combustible gas is used with a pressure more than the flashback flame extinction capacity. SOLUTION: The dry type safety device is provided with: a means having a check valve 41 and a shut-off valve 42 at a first flow passage 2a formed at a first way of a three-way cylindrical body 1 to prevent reverse flow, also to shut off normal flow, and to restrict the shut-off condition while enabling it to be released, a means having a extinction filter 51 and a receiver 53 in a second flow passage 3a formed at a second way of the three-way cylindrical body to gasify the flashback flame while permitting gases to flow, and a means having a shut-off valve rod 61 guided to the receiver and a third way of the three-way cylindrical body, and having a molten metal 63 put in so as to face the second flow passage, to shut off the normal flow, when the molten metal is melted by the heat of the flashback flame of the second flow passage, by the shut-off valve rod, while enabling it to be recognized. The shut-off condition brought out by the heat of the flashback flame and the dangerous pressure condition of the combustible gas are warned more positively with a marker.
