The hybrid drive is for a vehicle which has an internal combustion engine (1) as main drive and a compressed air machine (2) coupled to the engine as further drive. The engine and the compressed air machine is connected by a valve (8) with a compressed air accumulator (6). The valve is connected with a control apparatus (7), provided for generation of control signals (s1) for the valve. The control apparatus is also connected with the engine, for which it generates control signals (s2). The air pressure ruling in the compressed air accumulator and during the braking processes of the vehicle is enhanced in the sense of an energy recovery. Via a second valve (9) the compressed air accumulator is connected with a further unit (10) of the vehicle and is also connected with the control apparatus. The control apparatus is provided for generation of control signals (s3) for the second valve. The further unit (10) is a turbocharger for the vehicle and the control apparatus during the acceleration of the vehicle opens the second valve, in order to support the turbocharger with compressed air. Compressed air is blown directly into the compressor of the turbocharger. The further unit (10) is the catalyzer of the vehicle. |
