<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator capable of improving its reliability remarkably, by bonding a piezoelectric element and a reinforcement plate firmly. <P>SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric vibrating body 30 of a piezoelectric actuator, recessed portions 3311, which sink in the directions crossing the stacking direction of the piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33, are formed at the side surfaces of the reinforcement plate 33. This structure guides an adhesive AD, which is going to flow out of between piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33, and retains the adhesive AD inside the recessed portions 3311 when the piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33 are stacked and adhered, so that the spillover of the adhesive AD out of between the piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33 can be prevented. Therefore, the piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33 can firmly be adhered without lacking the adhesive AD between the piezoelectric elements 31, 32 and the reinforcement plate 33, and reliability can be obtained that can withstand the input of high power for driving a second chronograph hand continuously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
