PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer, containing at least an electron transporting agent, a charge generating agent and a binder resin on a conductive substrate, wherein the electron transport agent is a compound represented by Formula (1) or Formula (2). In the Formula, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>each denote a 1-6C linear or branched alkyl, a 6-20C aryl which may have a 1-6C linear or branched alkyl as a substituent, a 6-20C aralkyl, a 3-10C cycloalkyl or a 1-6C linear or branched alkoxy.
