PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bedrock groundwater intake facilities which reduces construction costs and rationalizes construction, without decreasing intake performance. SOLUTION: This bedrock groundwater intake facilities comprise a vertical shaft 1 which is dug down to the inside of a bedrock from a ground surface and the lower section of which serves as a water absorbing tank 2, and a water collecting tunnel 3 which is formed in the bedrock and provided in such a manner as to descend toward the tank 2. A plurality of widened parts 4 with a cross section larger than that of the tunnel 3 are formed at predetermined separation intervals in the intermediate section of the tunnel 3, and water collecting holes 5 etc. for introducing bedrock groundwater w are drilled from the respective widened parts 4 in such a manner as to be horizontally radial toward the bedrock. A pumping means 10, which comprises a lifting pipe 10a arranged to the ground from the tank 2, and a lifting pump 10b connected to a tail end of the lifting pipe 10a, is provided inside the vertical shaft 1 so that the bedrock groundwater w stored in the tank 2 can be utilized on the ground.
