PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching method and a punching device capable of realizing highly efficient punching motion in a small space and in small structure without causing meandering of a blade receiver sheet. SOLUTION: This punching method is devised to automatically and continuously carry out a process to make multiple punching motion by fixing the blade receiver sheet on a pedestal and a process to make the multiple punching motion at a following point by moving the blade receiver sheet. The punching motion is made 100 times and a moving distance is 0.2 mm, 0.2 mm movement is made 45 times, 9 mm feeding is done and then the 0.2 mm movement is made 45 times. Consequently, punching time for about three hours is realized, resulting in 45×100×3=13500 times and 67500 pieces in the number of formed cards. Movable distance is 45 mm of 9 mm×5 times.
