PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a kitchen space in a hygienically favorable state. SOLUTION: A kitchen unit 100 is installed in the kitchen space and equipped with a storage panel 3 which is slidable left and right on the back side of a kitchen counter 26. A rail 13 for suspending and holding the upper part of the storage panel 3 by way of runner members 41 is mounted on the lower surface of an upper closet 12, and the lower end surface of the storage panel 3 is formed with a runway groove 3a with magnetic members 51 embedded therein. Magnetic guide pins 52 projecting and retracting between at a projecting position at which the pin is inserted into the runway groove 3a and a retracting position at which the pin comes out from the runway groove 3a are arranged parallel at prescribed intervals on the back guard 31 of the kitchen counter 26 along an extending direction of the rail 13, and at least either ones of the guide pins 52 and the magnetic members 51 are magnetized to have attracting force.
