PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus for cooking various food materials, wholly and fully heating the food materials with heating steam, and cooking a mass of the food materials in a short time with fluffiness. SOLUTION: The cooking apparatus cooks the food materials, and is composed of containers for storing food materials to be cooked, a heating means for heating the containers storing the food materials to be cooked with heating steam, and a conveyor means for conveying the containers heated by the heating means.
