PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise apparatus capable of enhancing muscles and making it possible to perform stretching for stretching the muscles and joints. SOLUTION: The exercise apparatus is provided with a seat part 10, a drive part 50 swings the seat part 10, movement from the drive part is not transmitted to a grip part 30 and it is not swung linked with the seat part 10 and is provided on the rear side of the seat part 10. Thus, when a user sits facing a front direction, the seat part 10 is swung and the muscles are enhanced while training a sense of balance. Also, by having the user hold the grip part 30 not to be swung together with the seat part 10, a body part in contact with the seat part 10 and hands holding the grip part 30 relatively move and the body is stretched.
