PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which when a transplanter is constituted so as to feed object (including seedling, a fertilizer, an agent and/or seeds) to be planted to a feed cup on the transportation lower side to a main feed position (P) from the upper direction by a subsidiary feeder, the time required until the object(s) to be planted is transported to a main feed position (P) after the object is fed to the feed cup by the subsidiary feeder becomes longer and the object to be planted absorbs water content and as a result, the object(s) may adequately not be fed to the main feed position (P), in the transplanter equipped with a planting device (5) for planting the object (including seedling, a fertilizer, an agent and/or seeds) to be planted into a field and a main feeder (4) for dropping and feeding the object from the upper direction to the planting device (%), wherein the main feeder (4) is constituted so as to transport a plurality of feed cups (40) along a loop-shaped transportation pathway and successively feed these cups (40) to the main feed position (P) and drop and feed the object in the feed cup (40) positioned at the main feed position (P) to the planting device (5). SOLUTION: The transplanter is constituted so as to feed the object to the feed cup (40) at the main feed position (P) or on the transportation upper side to the main feed position (P) from the upper direction by a subsidiary feeder (110).
