A circuit for driving an electric apparatus is provided to control power supply operation by applying a state variation of components to a separation of the components. In a circuit(100) for driving an electric apparatus, a power supply unit supplies driving power. A main device driving unit(120) provides a main device(170) having a secondary terminal of a coupling transformer with the driving power supplied from the power supply unit(110) through a primary terminal of the coupling transformer. An over-current detection unit(130) detects an over-current generated in the primary terminal of the coupling transformer placed on the main device driving unit(120) and generates an over-current detection signal if the main device(170) is separated from the main device driving unit or the main device(170) satisfies a power blocking condition. A control unit(140) provides the main device driving unit(120) with the driving power periodically after cutting the power supply supplied to the main device driving unit(120) if the over-current detection signal is inputted.
