<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that data transmission pause operation of a transmitting terminal requires a prescribed time, if a pause frame signal is sent out to the transmitting terminal as a back pressure signal when the amount of accumulation of cells or packets of a transmitter buffer exceeds a predetermined value, to perform shaping of the cells or packets. <P>SOLUTION: Packet smoothing is performed by transmitting/receiving control information at higher-order layers, without using the pause frame signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
