PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of yielding a high-quality image over a long term. SOLUTION: A notched part is provided on the surface of a magnet roller opposed to a magnetic seal to secure a distance between the magnet roller and the surface of a sleeve, thus the amount of toner scraped by a scraper part is decreased to reduce occurrence of fogging in an edge portion.
