PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push type switch unit capable of suppressing rattling of a knob and of being constructed in a small size. SOLUTION: The knob 4 is secured to a supporting plate 5 through a first switch 3. Between the supporting plate 5 and a base 8, a damper 9 is interposed to suppress the swing in the direction D3 perpendicular to the pushing direction D1 of the knob 4 and to bias the knob 4 toward a cover 6.
