PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability of a measurer, and to enable measurement having high reproducibility. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a measuring probe 101 for measuring a measuring object 200; a measuring arm 100 for supporting the measuring probe 101 movably to an external force in a three-dimensional measuring space, and outputting position information S1 for detecting the position of the measuring probe; and a control part 300 for detecting the position in the three-dimensional measuring space of the measuring probe 101 based on the position information S1, and controlling the measuring arm 100 so that movement of the measuring probe 101 in the three-dimensional measuring space is restricted on an optional line or face.
