PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for controlling X-ray exposure capable of precisely detecting X-rays in a simple structure and to provide radiographic equipment using the same. SOLUTION: This detector 1 for controlling X-ray exposure is provided on the front stage of a flat panel X-ray detector (FPD) 2 for controlling the exposure when radiographing a subject using the FPD 2. This detector 1 for controlling the X-ray exposure is provided with a glass substrate 11 disposed with an accumulation electrode 11a, an X-ray sensitive conductor 12 laminatedly formed on the glass substrate 11 and converting X-ray information into charge information by the incidence of the X-rays, and a common electrode 13 laminatedly formed on the X-ray sensitive semiconductor 12.
