The device has a housing (2) designed in such a manner that a drying wagon (3) is retracted in the housing. Drying chambers (15) for ceramic molded products (5) are laterally arranged one upon the other in an upright stack (28). The drying chambers are formed in the housing, and include feed-through slots (15a) for support arms (4) of the wagon. The slots horizontally pass to a retraction side for the drying wagon and to an inner side facing the stack. The support arms are widely spaced apart by chamber walls of the drying chambers in a state of the wagon moved out from the housing. An independent claim is also included for a drying wagon for a device for drying ceramic molded products.
