The handle end grip has a shell-shaped mold part with an upper molded part (10) and a lower molded part (12). Both molded parts are connected by means of an intermediate part (14). The mold part is elongated in dismounted condition and in mounted condition, both the molded parts are arranged opposite to each other, whereby the intermediate part surrounds the bicycle handle bar. An independent claim is also included for the method of production of the handle bar end grip.
