<p>An electric water heater, especially for a windscreen washer, has a sandwich construction heating element with a strip heater (21) secured to plate electrodes (22) and mounted into a pack which is secured onto a heat exchanger block (31) with integral water ducts (310). One or more modular assembly sandwich elements can be fitted to match the thermal requirements for different vehicles. The modules are easily removed to replace damaged heater strips.</p> |
