<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of selecting a desired image adjustment portion in a display image, confirming gray scale characteristics of the whole image, and then adjusting the image of the selected adjustment portion, and to provide a projector and an image adjusting method of the image display device. <P>SOLUTION: Once an operation to adjust an image is done, an image signal processing section 16 stops the image and also makes a display part display a selection cursor 51 for selecting the desired image part in the image. Further, the image signal processing section 16 blinks an adjustment point corresponding to the gray scale of the selected image part and superposes a characteristic confirmation picture wherein the adjustment point is changed in color tone on an image signal in response to an operation to select the image part with the selection cursor 51, so the position of the image part in gray scale characteristics of the whole image is specified in a graph. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
