<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic apparatus capable of continuously forming images with suppressed image defects in transfer generated when an intermediate transfer member is used in combination with an electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by disposing a conductive layer, an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer in this order on a support. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic apparatus has an electrophotographic photosensitive member, a charging means, an exposure means, a developing means and a transfer means, wherein the electrophotographic photoreceptor is an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a support, a conductive layer, an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer, and the transfer means has an intermediate transfer member. In the electrophotographic apparatus, the conductive layer contains TiO<SB>2</SB>particles coated with oxygen-deficient SnO<SB>2</SB>and has a volume resistivity of >8.0×10<SP>8</SP>Ω cm and ≤1.0×10<SP>11</SP>Ω cm, and the intermediate transfer member has a volume resistivity of ≥1.0×10<SP>6</SP>Ω cm and ≤8.0×10<SP>13</SP>Ω cm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
