PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure pulse wave inspection apparatus capable of individually measuring the sensitivity of a cuff.

SOLUTION: The blood pressure pulse wave inspection apparatus comprises: a blood pressure calculation means 11; a main cuff 40; a fixed capacity pulse wave generation unit 63 for applying the pressure variation of a prescribed known capacity to the cuff 50; and a K calculation means 12 for calculating the sensitivity S of the cuff 40 on the basis of a pulse wave amplitude value detected in the cuff 50 when the fixed capacity pulse wave generation unit 63 is driven and the known capacity value, calculating volume pulse waves ΔV on the basis of the sensitivity and an amplitude value ΔP at the peak of the pulse waves and calculating blood vessel compliance K on the basis of the volume pulse waves ΔV and a blood vessel inner pressure variation portion.
