<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse rotation preventive mechanism in which motor efficiency is not deteriorated during normal operation. <P>SOLUTION: A power window motor 11 has an electric motor equipped with a rotating shaft 12b and rotation of the rotating shaft 12b is slowed down through a worm gear mechanism before being outputted from an output shaft. A pad 32 is provided in a gear case 23 to advance/retract freely in the radial direction for the rotating shaft 12b, and the pad 32 is urged by a spring 33 to touch the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft 12b thus holding the rotating shaft 12b in stopping state. An actuator 34 is provided in the gear case 23 and connected in parallel with each brush for supplying power to the electric motor. The actuator 34 is driven with a drive current common to the electric motor, and drives the pad 32 in the direction separating from the rotating shaft 12b when the electric motor is operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
