DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that can enhance color purity of a displayed image without adding alteration to a color filter layer or the like by suppressing reflection of other color components in each color region of a pixel to enhance the color purity of the pixel.

SOLUTION: A reflective electrode 14 is formed via an insulating layer 13 on a back substrate 11 where switching elements 12 are fabricated, and a color filter 15 and a resistor layer 19 are formed on the reflective electrode 14. A conductor material forming the resistor layer is deposited to constitute a contact hole in an aperture 20 formed in the color filter 15. After the resistor layer 19 is formed, a partial filter 22 is formed from the same material as the color filter 15 over the aperture 20 so as to absorb wavelength components of other colors in the reflected light from the reflective electrode 14 through the aperture 20.
