<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate giving glaring to an on-coming vehicle, a preceding vehicle and a pedestrian, to prevent forgetting of lighting at starting and to prevent short life of the life by repeating of lighting-out/lighting. <P>SOLUTION: The headlamp for the vehicle is provided with an accelerator opening sensor 2 for detecting stopping of the vehicle and the state immediately before starting of the vehicle and outputting a stopping signal and a starting signal and a vehicle speed sensor 3; and an ECU 4 for driving a leveller 11 by the stopping signal from the sensor to make an optical axis Z-Z of the headlamp 1 in the use stage to the downward state from the use state and to return it from the downward state to the use state. As a result, this can not apply glaring at stopping, prevent forgetting of lighting at starting, and shortening the life of a light source 8 of the headlamp 1 caused by repeating of lighting-out/lighting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
